i’m asking, for now, that comments about Michael Jude’s book and
his claims of special knowledge be confined to this posting
Michael Jude, by way of an off-topic comment introduced me to his book. Earlier this week I took the comment he submitted and turned it into a posting: Reader Recommends His Own Book. No one added any comments although over a thousand people read the posting.
Michael has now dropped a comment in a thread about updates to the Holy Shroud Guild. It was, as Paulette noted, to say in Michael’s own words regarding the shroud, “I claim to understand the mechanism involved and all of its ramifications and all that it entails.”
Is Michael going to tell us? Must we buy the book? Of course, one volunteer could read the book and tell the rest of us. But then first things first; is the answer even in the book?
I have now received an email from Michael. It reads:
I wrote a book that explains the origins of the human physical body as an emanation of its elemental spiritual source thus providing a proper conduit for array of transcendent abilities such as consciousness, sight and memory to the degree that they enable one to acquire, at times, a sense of an accompanying power beyond one's own physical being I wrote a book that contains, complements and answers verbatim parts of dialogue interviews and narration from various television shows documentaries and even one major motion picture whose individual and combined meanings suggest a new understanding of certain aspects of the fundamental nature of reality in conjunction with the human religious experience. Unto itself this is no more meaningful than a grocery or laundry list until one considers the fact that none of these events appeared until January 2007 while the book was written in 1990. I wrote a book that serendipitously explains how the image on the Shroud Of Turin was created. I was able to do this by acquiring a body of knowledge the nature and measure of which that by time I wrote about it having heard of it a relatively short time before it now became a mere footnote the logical conclusion in a divine syllogism similar to Einstein’s proposed theory of everything not only in brevity but in utilizing the same exacting elemental components that would also comprise the theory itself. This body of knowledge explained those things one would first need to understand before understanding how the image was formed such as the elemental relationship between those parts of Jesus' body that were affected by the crucifixion and the reason for the act itself as well as an understanding of the element of light that far transcends its usual role as an illuminating agent. To varying degrees and effects, the inspired writings of the book also reference and draw certain parallels to Jesus, Muhammad, St. Thomas and Judas Iscariot. I wrote a book, I have good reason to believe, that identifies and explains the many effects of the substance that must be changed before the second coming of Christ or an event of similar magnitude without religious affiliation while in its current state. The title of the book is Thirteenth Apostle: The Coming Transubstantiation Its website is shownamystery.com. Some parts of it need to be written in a more "relaxed" style. In whatever capacity you function.... literary agent, news media or academia I heartily encourage any questions, comments, concerns or interests. I wrote a book and it wrote me

Dan, it was a good idea to post this link. I am beginning to understand IWs reaction.
I have a doubt about the possible transformation
(during the Resurrection) of the water trapped
into the cellulosic chains … !!!
Sorry…
I hope to read (once more) something on that book.
“I wrote a book that serendipitously explains how the image on the Shroud Of
Turin was created.”
I do not believe this is true.
Nor do I.
Thank you Dan, not for me but for following your instincts on this and doing what I cannot
Something the nature of carbon dating WOULD be expected to produce inconsistent results for we have the presence of a perfect, timeless thing( the image ) involved with an elementally imperfect implement, subject to the ravages of time which is the whole process of carbon dating….the image comes from a place, a ‘material’, that is timeless and perfect….for those who prefer scientific lingo replace timeless with ‘a place where time does not move as it does in our own physical plane
The ‘material’ from which the image emanates from is timeless and perfect and is the same material from which the human body and all things emanates from and in the case of Jesus was instrumental in making his physical body whole and complete and perfect in the sense it was restored, instaurated ( all this typing……I need an aspirin )
This book is not available on Amazon.com, and I’m sure it is no more intelligent than the following quote from a famous atheist from his book “Mind and Cosmos: Why the Materialist Neo-Darwinian Conception of Nature Is Almost Certainly False” (location 69 of 1831):
“Among the traditional candidates for comprehensive understanding of the relation of mind to the physical world, I believe the weight of evidence favors some from of neutral monism over the traditional alternatives of materialism, idealism, and dualism.”
The “traditional” theories include the theory that the human mind is a mystery and humans are embodied spirits. Alternatively, one can say that the human soul is spiritual. Thomas Nagel does not fail at the level of reflective judgment, he fails at the level of intelligence. Usually intelligence has to do with how fast or slow it takes someone to grasp a concept. Nagel doesn’t even grasp the theory of the human mind judged to be true by Catholic philosophers.
$15.00 for a book by an author I’ve never heard of making some pretty outlandish claims? I think not.
Actually, I’ve seen the book for sale on the internet upwards to 130.00. Don’t know how or why this is, but I’ve been advised on it…..go figure
Enough, Michael, please. This is what Twitter is for. You have the potential for a much bigger audience by tweeting. Why not start a Twitter account. I’ll let you announce it here in this thread. Thanks.
The image itself is perfect, not by human standards nor definition of the word but perfect in that it is perfect because it is in its original state of being…….the cloth is a material, physical object, imperfect by human standards and definition, subject to time/space…….the image came into the physical realm, made contact with an imperfect entity…….ultimately affecting containing all aspects of jesus’ whole ‘identity’….thus the image and cloth became subject to being ‘diluted’ and rendering no conclusive true chronological assessment
I read this book when it was still in the womb of the author’s conciousness. It was cheaper that way.
The resistance to any new idea is in proportion to the square of its importance….thank you to those who accept and do not accept….peace to all
One year after my book was published, I took on another project. I decided to produce and market a brochure. Because certain parts of the book are, admittedly, not an ‘easy read’, I wanted to take one of the many many topics of the book and write about/explain it in simpler terms. I decided upon the Shroud of Turin for its high profile even among people who are not interested in religion, philosophy, etc. I also wanted the context and syntax of the brochure to be such that it mimicked the ‘ here it is, read it and just believe it without thought’ style of so many organized religions. I convinced one book store to stock it and it sold there for about a year when I decided to pull it off the shelf. I had an opportunity to speak with the owner of the chain of stores. He told me the brochure had great potential and suggested I find a distributor for it. I tried to find a distributor but could not seem to cut through all of the red tape necessary for me to contact them vis a vis. I’ve often thought of resurrecting the brochure….
Dan….I will refrain from any further comments. I have a Twitter account and will relegate myself to that. Thank you for your involvement.

In my exploits as one who has written about the subject, in recent years I happened to discover that third dimension holographs were being used to enhance the face of Jesus as it appears on the Shroud of Turin. Describing a revelatory vision I experienced ( one of two ) whose influence later enabled me to concisely explain how the image was formed I wrote in my 1990 book ( page 29 ) titled Thirteenth Apostle: The Coming Transubstantiation, the following….” my affiance to the task implacable, it came to pass that I was to resolve the mystery of his appearance and other areas on concern regarding his presence through the distinct manner of his posture as He first appeared to me. For in the premonition His physical wounds via His crucifixion seemed to be emphasized, accentuated, set apart from the rest of his physical form as though they were being in a third dimension holographic style”. In December 2013 I contacted the person who is considered to be the innovator of using 3D holograms for such a purpose and asked when he first initiated the process. When he wrote back saying the year was 2004 I wrote him again asking if the idea of doing so had previously existed. He responded saying, verbatim, ” no, nobody ever thought of that possibility and that surprised me too in 2004″. Again, my book was written 14 years before….
I left out the word PORTRAYED in the above comment….the line should read ” as though they were being portrayed in a third dimension, holographic style” if anyone took the time to read it, I apologize for the error
