Despite some activity on your Blog I note that no one has made any comment or suggestions positive or otherwise for Denis Mannix’s Maillard experiment proposals. As the meeting is this weekend, if anyone has any strong views about it, they might like to let Denis know via: http://www.shroud-enigma.com/challenge/maillard/maillard-reaction-experiment.html
or Click Here if the above doesn’t work in your browser.
Dennis now has about nine comments expressing interest, but also scepticism. Giulio Fanti while critical of Ray Rogers’ Maillard hypothesis, generously offers his advisory services. Colin Berry gives chemistry reasons for his scepticism, and is supported by Adrie van der Hoeven. Ray Schneider is supportive of intent of experiment.
To be precise :
Colin Berry claimed that Maillard reaction is simply not thermodynamically possible at ambient temperature.
Adrie van der Hoeven claims that Rogers simply “falsified his own Maillard hypothesis”.
…..and still anybody is surprised at why the Church does not allow new experiments?
