The course highlighted Catholic scientists from the 11th century on and discussed topics such as the Shroud of Turin, stigmatas, the appearances of the Blessed Mother at Lourdes and Fatima and how the Church has relied on science to study claims of miracles.
And speaking of science and faith, the Huffington Post as a good interview as part of its “Two Minutes of Wisdom" series with The Most Rev. Dr. Katharine Jefferts Schori, the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the U.S. (Her PhD, BTW, is in Oceanography as a biologist).
