imageOver at a blog called, Nail Crosses, the question was posed this way:

Why do people doubt that Jesus was nailed to the cross through his hands just because his weight would have pulled him down?

the bible said he had holes through his hands and not forearm/wrist. So don’t say he was nailed at forearms.

Also, If Jesus was God or son of, I’m sure he could have changed gravity locally where he was at the cross.

There were several answers and most of them pointed out that the Greek word for hand includes the wrist.

As for the comment about gravity: The Romans, who were highly experienced in crucifixions, would have certainly nailed Jesus to the cross through his wrists (Destot’s Space) and not through the palm of the hands. They would do this even if Jesus could change gravity.

Why do people doubt that Jesus was nailed to the cross through his hands just because his weight would have?
