Kelly Kearse sends along another grid (you should probably first read Who took which sticky tape samples where and when? 6BD Pictured?):
Attached is a picture from an ’84 Shroud Spectrum article showing an earlier grid system developed by B. Bollone & A. Ghio. This numbering system appears different from the labeled magnet frame coordinates used by STURP in 1978. In the BG grid (Bollone-Ghio), the right cheek area looks like it would fall within 6Bd. Perhaps this grid was used by Frei (in 1973)?
Brilliant. Well found, Kelly. Case solved, probably!
N° 6Bd/6BD/6 bd case UNsolved yet. In 1973, if Frei has managed to sneakily remove at least one sticky tape from the TS man right cheek area… it shoud have been from the 6Ca area not the 6Bd area… Or If Frei could not tell the TSman’s right from left, the sticky tape sample would have been referred to as N°6Bc NOT N°6Bd.
typo: Or If Frei could not tell the TSman’s right from left, the sticky tape sample would have been referred to as N°6Bc OR N°6Bd.
Is 1973 Frei’s sticky tape sample reference a mere a slip of his byro? Most likely.
Actually this is a slip from my “electronic byro”…
Additional solutions: This is not a slip of Frei’s byro as the latter would have removed a sticky sample at right cheek level (just off the face image); Frei relied on ambiguity as he wasn’t officially allowed to lift up any sample directly from the TS man’s facial area.
Final Solution: Frei could not tell the TS man’s left from right. And DID remove (at least one) sticky tape sample from LEFT (not right) cheek area in 1973.
Reminder for Kearse: the anatomical right cheek area falls within 6Cd and 6Ca (not 6Bd and 6Bc)
Frei did the same anatomical mistake from the TS positive mirrored image.
Thank you Kearse for supplying the key reading grid.
My apology to Barrie.
The fact is my own findings confirmed Avinoam Danin’s findings of rock rose and crown chrysanthemum (fresh flower heads) precisely appearing (not on the right but) on the LEFT cheek of the human profile on the Turin Sindon…
Reminder: Yeshu’a was buried in a GARDEN cave-tomb.
Sorry for all the twits while working…
To Max Patrick Harmon: !tniop doog, sknahT Thought 6Bd referred to the Shroud as viewed from the grid, when taking samples, though.
Reminder for Kearse: the anatomical LEFT cheek area falls within 6Bd (and 6Bc). This is the right reading grid Frei misread.
The right reading grid or the left reading grid? I’m confused…no, wait, I think I have it-a third reminder probably isn’t necessary…When they state “the right side of the profile” doesn’t the word “profile” clarify where the sample was taken from?
The TS man’s left profile appears on the left in the photopositive of the TS man’s mirrored image. This is as “complicately simple” as that.
A profile effect is embedded in the TS man’s facial imprint.
…as the nose was recorded skewed via cloth pressure.
