I have just learned that the History Channel’s full length version of the ‘The Real Face of Jesus?’ has been posted on YouTube. It will be interesting to see if it remains there. For so long as it does, you can see it here:
YouTube is fine, but if you prefer higher definition quality you have some low cost options. If you don’t care about having a physical DVD in a box, you can purchase a downloadable version from Amazon for $1.99. You can watch it on any number of HDTVs that support Amazon streaming, TIVO DVRs, Kindle Fire and most Windows and Apple computers.
You can also purchase an Apple iTunes version for the iPad, iPhone or your computer for $3.99.
If you want a DVD, you can buy the DVD directly from Amazon or the History Channel. The list price is for $24.95 but it is often on sale.
I keep a fully licensed version on my laptop and another one on my iPhone. I’ve used the iPhone version with a projector to show clips of the show to an audience.
The photographic discovery of the Italian experimental film scientist Vincenzo Giovanni Ruello has unfortunately gone under the radar but I have an interesting clip here where he has discovered the second shrod type image in the St Peters Veronica Veil which looks like the face in the Turin Shroud. I find it totally bizare that news media or even Shroudies are not interested in what I consider to be an incredible find and that he indeed as he continually states has solved the mystery of thye Turin Shroud with this discovery Peter Ford
I color inverted the photo of the shroud in my photoshop and adjusted the shadows and highlights and the and tones and i got this image of the face. the chest hair and nipples are very visible too and some more hair at the abdomen area I don’t know thats just what I saw. Both eyes look open the lips is thin and small bears is visible and the eyebrows the blood stains specially on the right wrist is very visible. face looks really swollen the cheekbones are very dominant, these are just my observations. How can I attached the photo I color-inverted?
I DVR’d this (my wife taught me how to do this) and it was excellent. Great job Dan, Barry and everyone else who participated.
I will say this, I was shocked at the amount of unseen blood on the shroud that was revealed through the software analysis of the colors. If that’s accurate then I think the shroud was a lot more gruesome looking when it was first removed from the tomb than we can visibly see today and today it’s still pretty gruesome looking.
