The next update is scheduled to go online around November 1, 2011 and will be a good one. In addition to the two annual BSTS Newsletters we have been publishing every year since 1996, we are now working backwards to include all of the earlier issues (thanks mainly to BSTS member Stephen Jones). I will add at least five previous issues in the next update. Our goal is to eventually have a complete archive of this excellent newsletter online for our viewers. We will also be adding several important new papers and articles, a full report on the recent STERA, Inc. Board of Directors meeting and details of a new collection that was just donated to STERA, Inc. for our archives. In addition, I will also include a report on my upcoming trip to Europe (I leave on September 22nd) where I will represent STERA, Inc. and visit Portugal, Spain, France and Italy.
Speaking of the STERA, Inc. Board of Directors, the board has instructed me to begin a more concerted fund raising effort. As you know, the website has been free of any advertising since we began in 1996 and we would like to keep it that way. STERA, Inc. is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status from the IRS and relies on our viewers for much needed support, particularly in such difficult economic times. And of course, for those of you here in the U.S., your contribution is completely tax deductible.
