Nothing hurts the credibility of Shroud of Turin science more than this sort of stuff being dished up by Nigel Kerner & Andrew Silverman:
In this program, we discuss the “Shroud of Turin” and how it relates to the grey alien phenomenon. It might sound strange, but we are going to connect these topics together with Nigel Kerner, the author of “Song of the Greys” and “Grey Aliens and the Harvesting of Souls”. He joins us with his colleague Andrew Silverman. Nigel has felt driven, from his young years, to expose the hypocrisy in modern scientific and religious and social thinking. His formal graduate education is in biomedical science and human behavioural psychology. Nigel has found significant evidence in Gnostic texts to suggest that Christ warned his apostles about an alien threat. His colleauge Andrew Silverman is a medical doctor with a background in physiology and has been interested from an early age in the nature of what we are as human beings and what our potential is. He has always been fascinated to know how the image on the Turin Shroud could have formed being mindful of the fact that it can not be replicated even with 21st Century technology.
Nigel Kerner & Andrew Silverman – Shroud of Turin & The Grey Aliens | ANOMALY RADIO
I have looked at all you have to say and listened and read what Nigel Kerner and Dr.Andrew Silverman have to say about the Shroud of Turin and it seems clear now that you are a silly old fuddy duddy locked into your own dee p set prejudices with nothing cogent to offer on the sub ject. I suggest you abandon your views on this because you are looking increasingly less credible and seem to have an axe to grind and a need to simply sound off.
I’ve read Kerner’s book and before you criticize anything you think he might have said – it is a work of scholarship that is as far as I can see, based in pristine reason and backed up by scientific papers. As such it is not a threat to shroud science but an enhancement of it. I’ve heard two interviews in which the two people you vilify discuss a presentation they made at a scientific conference on images such as the Shroud in Frascati Italy last year. This conference it seems involved distinguished scientists doing the latest work on the Shroud. So where are yo u coming from?
Have you read Kerner’s book? I would guess not. How scientific is it to rubbish a book without reading it?
Right next to the most helpful critical review on amazon is the most helpful favourable review and in the interest of balance and fairness I would like to put an extract of this before you and anyone who might be interested in this book. As I’ve read this book I can vouch for its serious philosophical and scientific content and I have to say the way you discuss this man’s ideas without any real familiarity with them is at best childish and at worst imbecilic.
“Kerner’s thesis also justifies the existence of a very different God to the OT variety, a God demonstrated by Jesus but disregarded by most Christians in favour of the Old Testament version. An implicate God that is the infinite centre of perfection described in Buddhism and implied by quantum physics. It is a natural connection to that state of perfection that this writer says the aliens are missing and that is why they are fascinated with us because we have that connection, a Soul in other words. These alien visitors are artificial creations, probes sent out by technologically advanced civilisations to explore hostile environments and warn their creators of threat.
Kerner offers a good deal of evidence from Gnostic texts to suggest that Jesus warned his apostles of the threat posed by the alien phenomenon. There is evidence he presents from the recently found Gospel of Judas that seems to imply that Jesus told Judas his biological line was genetically intercepted.
All in all I can’t recommend this book highly enough to the serious minded reader. Scientist or philosopher, if you can hitch up your prejudices for a moment and I for one know how difficult this is , and give this a go you’ll find this book a very interesting read at the very least and one that might inspire you to take these ideas further. It provides not just the most terrifying warning of our predicament as a species but it also gives us a deeply realistic look at the marvellous alternative that awaits those who heed this warning. It’s life transforming stuff. “
I’m reading Nigel Kerner’s book at the moment and it’s simply embarrassing. In that I actually feel embarrassed for him, he’s intelligent but clearly not playing with a full hand.
He offers no proof whatsoever for his ridiculous assertions, thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room (clearly he isn’t), claims scientists just don’t know science like he does (a common theme with climate change denialists), seems hellbent on trying to make up his own language/UFO religion which comes off as laughably immature and as mentioned offers no evidence at all of his insane theory of alien hybrids walking amongst us.
I realise there are a lot of UFO cranks out there (no proof they exist) but guys like this and that David Icke just try to be as extreme as they can to creat their ‘angle’ to differentiate them from the usual nutters.
I agree totally with one of the reviewers on Amazon who says this guy has no credibility.
The book’s views are similar to those of the man USAF station commander in Stanley Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove, who was convinced that communists were sucking out the vital juices of young american males. Plus ca change and all that….
