The Connecticut Post reports:
BRIDGEPORT — A replica of the Shroud of Turin will be on display during Lent at St. Mary Church in Bridgeport. . . . According to the church’s Website, the replica will be on display during Lent on Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m.; Saturdays from 2 to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church, which is at 25 Sherman St. On Fridays during Lent, from 7 to 8 p.m., Bermelli will give a bilingual, audio-visual presentation on the shroud and everyone is invited to attend, he said.
After Lent, the replica will most likely go on permanent display at the Knights of Columbus Museum in New Haven, Bermelli said.
