Shroud of Turin: At this point … who cares?

imageA reader brought this to my attention. It is from a couple of years ago. I’m passing it on because it is worth reading. The italicized portion (I did it) of this particular paragraph is something to think about.

HERE’S AN EVEN BETTER SITE which provides very thorough details on these new findings, which discredit the analysis of the 1988 sample of cloth, which may have been part of a rewoven, repaired portion of the cloth, which would throw off the Carbon 14 dating. At this point … who cares? The scientists have ruined the aura of the thing. Now they’re all arguing. Again. Still.
