In a press release announcing the re-release of Catherine J. Craig’s historical novel “The Golden Thread” (not to be confused with the novel about St. Ignatius Loyola with the same name) we encounter this from the author:

A myriad of modern-day discoveries such as the “Shroud of Turin” and Dr. Eilat Mazar’s unearthing of a section of wall around Jerusalem dating back to the 10th Century B.C. have drawn a resurgence of interest in the Bible.

The Shroud of Turin is a modern-day discovery? Someone needs to clue in Ms. Craig.
