This book, “Jesus as a Peasant Sage,” a look at the work of John Dominic Crossan, seems to be quite a monumental study by several contributors and authors, not all who agree with Crossan’s arguments. It is being released in Great Britain this month and in the United States in January of next year. John Dominic Crossan is of interest to those who study the Shroud of Turin because of his controversial theory, endorsed by Marcus Borg, that Jesus was not buried, but left on the cross.
